Ali Lenard

Originally from Wayne, PA, Ali graduated from Bucknell University in 2018 with a B.S. in Biology & a minor in Anthropology. She started in the Bernt Lab shortly after and dove into a research project exploring the epigenetic regulation of protein translation in a specific subset of leukemia. After this paper’s publication, Ali moved onto a collaboration with Syndax Pharmaceuticals exploring the role of menin inhibition in rare & aggressive rearranged leukemias. Apart from this project, Ali also maintained the mouse colony and bred our rare genetic mouse models. After the Bernt Lab, Ali went on to earn her nursing degree and work at the NICU at CHOP. Ali enjoys skiing with her family & friends, baking, as well as traveling (in a non-pandemic world).
