Dr. Kathrin Bernt (she/her)

Dr Bernt is a physician scientist dedicated to understanding how hematopoietic development is falsely re-wired in leukemia, and to identifying novel therapeutic targets. Dr. Bernt received her MD from the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. After residency at the Texas Children's Hospital and Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital / Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Dr. Bernt went on to faculty positions at the University of Colorado, and in 2017 the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia / University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bernt is a member of the NCI designated Abramson Cancer Center, the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the American Association of Cancer Research AACR), and the Children's Oncology Group (COG).
